To boost up the Mental Strength of the Athletes of Male Handball Team, Female Handball Team & Pencak Silat Team (Martial Art), Glanbia Performance Nutrition India organized a “Send-off” event for the Athletes going for “Asian Games 2018” in Delhi.
Mr. Anurag Thakur (MP & Ex BCCI, President, and Vice President Hockey India) said: “We all are here to boost up the mental strength of all the Athletes going for Asian Games 2018 to win Gold for India”. He further said that all our players should take care of their health, living, and nutrition so that they do not distract and they can only focus on their goals. I wish the players to go abroad and bring the gold for our country. Anurag also showed his concern regarding proper space for athletes to play and practice. He assured that government is trying to give all the facilities to players and sports in all states for all type of games.
The Central Government will soon start the country’s first National Sports University in Manipur with a cost of Rs 524 crore said Thakur.
Manoj Tiwari (MP and Delhi Pradesh BJP President) also wished all the players selected for Asian games 2018 and wish them that they come back with the maximum gold for India.
This event is already a part of FITINDIA CAMPAIGN Movement. Anandeshwar Pandey (Treasure, Indian Olympic Association, General Secretary Handball Federation of India & Vice President, Hockey India), Mr. Viviek Narayan Sharma(Sr. Lawyer, Supreme Court & Spoke Person of Fit India), Mr. Mohd. Iqbal (Director General, Indian Pencak Silat Federation) were also present at the event to cheer up the Athletes.
The 2018 Asian Games, officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta Palembang, is a pan-Asian multi-sport event scheduled to be held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
