Will make a strong come back: PV Sindhu

PV Sindhu who finished second best yet again in a major tournament final as she lost to Carolina Marin in the World Championships’ women’s singles title clash has said that she would make a strong comeback and her focus is on taking out the positives from the tournament.
The 23-year-old Indian shuttler stated that though she gave her 100 percent in the tournament, she would definitely work on her weak areas. Sindhu had also lost an epic final to Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara at Glasgow last year.
The second silver meant Sindhu is the only Indian to have four world championships podium finishes. She had won two bronze medals at the 2013 Guangzhou and 2014 Copenhagen editions.
Marin became the first woman shuttler to win the world championships thrice. She had won the title in 2014 and the 2015 Jakarta edition.
Speaking about upcoming Asian Games which are scheduled to be held from 8 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang, Sindhu said “Asian Games are almost here and we don’t have much time.  But as much time as we have, I think I have to get back to training and work hard for that one and half week and go and play in Asian Games,” she said.
